With all the attention paid to the presidential election, we can lose sight of how important control of Congress will be to the winner. Will Democrats take control of the Senate—including its power to confirm judges? Will progressives expand their power in the House? Our panel of experts working in the fields of campaign polling, journalism, and academia will help explain the current state of the battle for Congress, and provide clues for what to expect in November.

Moderator: David R. Jones, Professor & Chair, Political Science Department, Baruch College

Panelists:
Cornell Belcher, President, brilliant corners Research & Strategies
Sahil Kapur, National Political Reporter, NBC News
Charles Tien,  Professor, Department of political Science, Hunter College, CUNY
