Zoom Link https://tinyurl.com/worklifewebinar2020
In recognition of the difficulties in work-life balance during these unprecedented times, we want to support our faculty, staff and students, particularly those who are primary caregivers. This webinar experience is designed to bring together leading academic voices to discuss parenting, motivation, and developing human potential. There will be presentations, moderated Q&A, and breakout room opportunities.
At the conclusion of this webinar you will learn:
- Ideas for navigating child-rearing in uncharted and turbulent waters, particularly the role of emotional honesty in the face of anxiety, uncertainty and frustration
- How to apply science-based strategies for managing time, sustaining motivation, supporting one another, and increasing the odds of meeting our goals despite challenging obstacles
- A deeper understanding of and appreciation for the unique challenges and resources for diverse colleagues navigating work/life demands during the pandemic
Participants will be connected with colleagues experiencing these challenges and obtain tools to form communities to keep the conversation going.
Registration closes December 11th at 11:30 am
Moderator: Dr. Jennifer Mangels, Baruch College WSAS, Chair of the Psychology Department
