This is a required introductory course for business majors at Zicklin School of Business, including both Zicklin students and transfer students. The course stresses five pillars essential for success in business: (1) quantitative analysis; (2) communication skills; (3) ethical decision-making; (4) research; and (5) globalization. Students will write memos and reports, make oral presentations, and use Excel to model and solve business problems. Students in the class will conduct a comprehensive research study - the Shadow-a-Company project.
