The mission of the Office of Research Compliance and Outreach (ORCO) is to support the scholarly research pursuits of Baruch College. ORCO ensures that Baruch affiliated research complies with federal and state regulations, university policies, and the highest ethical standards. ORCO is responsible for overseeing the compliance areas of human subjects, export control, research agreements, and IACUC administration. Compliance regulations and policies are applied in these areas independent of funding or sponsorship. We provide forward-thinking oversight and leadership around how research data/materials are handled and maintained.

ORCO provides oversight, administrative support, and compliance education to promote the understanding of compliance throughout the Baruch community.
