Baruch College Ranks #21 Among Top 100 "Obama Scorecard Colleges" for Value and Affordability

NEW YORK, NY - September 17, 2013 - Baruch College is ranked #21 among the "Top 100 Obama Scorecard Colleges," a list created by Affordable Colleges (AC) Online. With a total score of 78.72 and a low student loan default rate of 3.2%, Baruch College ranks in the Top 25.

President Barak Obama recently announced a systematic move to rate colleges by value, with schools earning top honors for making student debt manageable, and for producing co-eds who have "strong career potential when they graduate." With the government's new rating system still in the planning stages, AC Online set out to find the colleges and universities in the United States most likely to land atop the president's list.

Colleges included in this list are public colleges and universities that are fully accredited and offer 4-year degrees. AC Online analyzed various "value metrics" to isolate the schools that not only make college affordable, but also excel when it comes to student services and academic and professional success.
