Baruch College's Accounting Programs Ranked Among Top 50 in Public Accounting Report's 33rd Annual Professors Survey

NEW YORK, NY- September 3, 2014 -Baruch College’s undergraduate and graduate accounting programs are ranked among the Top 50 in the United States, according to the Public Accounting Report (PAR) 33rd Annual Professors Survey 2014 released in August.

PAR’s Annual Professors Survey is the nation’s only survey that allows accounting professors to rank the nation’s best accounting programs. The survey is a proprietary product necessitating confidentiality for the sake of protecting its participants, as well as PAR’s own competitive interests. It provides professors an opportunity to share their views with accounting firms about campus recruiting. Hundreds of professors from nearly 200 U.S. colleges and universities participated in the 2014 survey, which was conducted in May and June.

In the PAR, Baruch College ranked in the following categories:

  • #23 - “Top 50 Undergraduate Programs”

  • #15 - “Top 25 Undergraduate Rankings of Schools with 22+ Full-time Accounting Faculty”
  • #15 - “Top 25 Masters Rankings of Schools with 22+ Full-time Accounting Faculty”

The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy in the Zicklin School of Business offers accounting and taxation programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Ph.D. in accounting.
