Baruch College Advances in Forbes Ranking of Full-Time MBA Programs with Best Return on Investment; #3 in NYC, #55 Nationally

NEW YORK, NY -- September 10, 2015 -- Baruch College has significantly improved its position in Forbes magazine’s biannual ranking of the full-time MBA programs with the top return on investment (ROI), from #66 in 2013 to #55 this year.

The results support Baruch College’s growing reputation as a public school where students can get a high-quality, financially rewarding MBA degree at reasonable expense.

At a Glance

     Among full-time MBA programs, measured by ROI, Baruch ranked:

          # 55 nationally

          # 3 in New York City (after Columbia and NYU)

          # 6 in New York State

          # 30 among public colleges nationally

The rankings are based on the five-year gain in salary for graduates of the program, factoring in earnings before enrollment and after graduation, as well as the cost of the MBA program, including tuition, required fees, and foregone compensation during the program.

The data is for graduates of the Class of 2010, based on reported salaries for 2014. Forbes found that the median Baruch graduate would see a gain of $27,400 over a five-year period, and could expect a 2014 salary of $115,000.
