Abhi Ghosh Moulick studies entrepreneurship and nonmarket strategy. His research explores the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship as a path for positive social impact. In his published work, he delves into the consequences of shifting resource dependencies within entrepreneurial organizations, the dynamics of entrepreneurship in weak institutional contexts, and theory-method compatibility issues for causal inference in quantitative entrepreneurship research. Additionally, he is interested in strategic human capital in entrepreneurial organizations and the feedback loop between startups and their nonmarket environment. His research spans various organizational settings, including startups, firms, and nonprofits. He earned his doctoral degree from Texas A&M University and his undergraduate degree from the University of London (London School of Economics). He teaches courses on Entrepreneurial Pre-Launch (ENT 3960) and Social Entrepreneurship (ENT 4969). Before entering academia, he gained experience in finance and startups.
