Dr. Andrea Bazzoli is an occupational health psychologist whose research program broadly investigates (i) the experiences of job insecure and financially strained workers to improve their outcomes, (ii) how to enhance workplace safety (e.g., by investigating safety climate and accident (under)reporting), and (iii) how advancements in quantitative and qualitative methods can be best utilized to inform empirical work in the organizational sciences. His work has appeared in some of the leading journals in the field and he serves on the editorial board of Occupational Health Science.
He earned his graduate degrees from Washington State University and is currently an assistant professor of industrial-organizational psychology at Baruch College and CUNY Graduate Center, where he teaches classes in research methods, psychometrics, occupational health, and organizational change & development to scores of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as executives.
