Professor Beer is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College. Previous to joining the Zicklin faculty, she was a faculty member at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

Professor Beer holds a PhD in Operations Management from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, an MBA from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.

In her research, Professor Beer uses behavioral experiments and analytical models to study how individuals make decisions in operational settings. Her main focus is on the effects of social interactions on supply-chain relations, collaboration between firms, and workplace productivity.
