Ryan Scott Teschner, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Business, Sustainability, and Society at City University of New York, Baruch College in the Zickilin School of Business.
His research examines stigma and identity in the workplace. Specifically, how employees can successfully sustain their own (marginalized) identities in organizations without subverting their own well-being.
His research has appeared in top tier academic outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Washington University Law Review. To carry out this research, he runs lab experiments, experience-sampling field studies, and conducts interviews.
Prior to joining Baruch, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Singapore Management University and worked as a research assistant at the University of Florida.
