Thomas Bonnett has had an extensive career in public service. He was elected to the Vermont House of Representatives in 1974, reelected in 1976. He has worked as a policy advisor to a Member of Congress, managed a non-profit organization, held research and management positions in NYC government, and consulted for prominent organizations in Washington, D.C. Two of his policy books attracted national attention: TELEWARS in the States, and IS THE NEW GLOBAL ECONOMY LEAVING STATE-LOCAL TAX STRUCTURES BEHIND? He received a BA from Bennington College and a MPP from the University of California at Berkeley.
