Valeria Cavotta is a Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Baruch College, City University of New York. She received her PhD in management from University of Lausanne (Switzerland). Before joining Baruch College, she was Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management at University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy) and visiting fellow at Imperial College Business School (UK). Dr. Cavotta has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship, marketing, and business ethics at Baruch College (USA), University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy), University of Klagenfurt (Austria), and Queen Mary University (UK). Her research interests include social entrepreneurship, informal entrepreneurship, indigenous entrepreneurship, and storytelling. Dr. Cavotta's research on these and related topics has been published in the world’s leading academic journals, including Journal of Business Venturing, Organization Studies, and Journal of Business Ethics, among others
