Dr. Tania Konstantina Ploumi is an Assistant Professor of Management (Sustainability) at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. Her research sits at the intersection of sustainability, organizational behavior, and environmental psychology, with a focus on climate justice and the social dimensions of climate change. She examines how ecosystem services, particularly mental health and psychological benefits, can be integrated into ESG and corporate sustainability frameworks, and how urban nature and biophilic design support well-being and resilience.
She teaches MBA courses on sustainability, ESG, and organizational change, emphasizing experiential and transdisciplinary learning that connects students with real-world climate and community challenges. She is involved in several funded projects, including international sustainability education initiatives in Greece and Ghana, and serves on advisory councils advancing sustainability in higher education.
