GRADUATION ELIGIBILITY

You must file an Application for Degree form with the Registrar's Office. Only an official notification from the Registrar's Office should be accepted as a definitive statement of graduation. Receipt of a commencement letter from Student Life does not signify that you have fulfilled all your academic requirements and does not indicate that you are eligible to graduate.

FILING DEADLINES

The deadline for ordering cap and gown online is Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Please see below for late ordering.

To order your cap and gown and guest tickets, please submit the COMMENCEMENT STUDENT ORDER FORM. The deadline to complete the order online is Wednesday, April 15, 2020 (the order site closes at midnight).

TIME & PLACE

Baruch College will hold its 2020 Commencement Exercises on Monday, June 8 at Barclays Center at 620 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.

There will be one commencement ceremony at 9:30 a.m., with both undergraduate and graduate students at the ceremony. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. and the ceremony will end around noon.

CAPS & GOWNS

Participants in the Commencement Exercises must wear appropriate academic attire. To order academic attire, please complete the COMMENCEMENT STUDENT ORDER FORM.

Be sure to indicate which degree you are receiving (Undergrads - BA, BBA or BS; Grads - MA, MBA, MPA, MS, PhD, etc.). Measure your height while wearing heels of the same height that you will wear to the exercises. The academic regalia is made with 100% recycled content as part of Baruch’s sustainability initiative.

The entire academic attire is yours to keep. If for any reason you choose not to attend the ceremony, you may make a written request for a refund to thegraduateguy@aol.com by May 1, 2020. (Note: requests for refunds will NOT be honored after Commencement. Any academic attire that is not picked up on the day of Commencement is returned to the manufacturer at the end of the day.)
