Thomas R. Pickering Undergraduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship
The Thomas R. Pickering Undergraduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship is awarded by the U.S. Department of State through the Woodrow Wilson Foundation to full-time students who wish to pursue a career in foreign service. Applicants must be full-time juniors, U.S. citizens, and have a minimum GPA of 3.2. Awards are up to $40,000 and cover the senior year of college as well as the first year of graduate study. Recipients must also complete 3 years as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Dept. of State following their graduate program.
Award / Eligibility Details:
Fellows must pursue a graduate degree at a full-member APSIA school in fields such as international studies, international affairs, public policy, administration, economics, political science or foreign languages. Please refer to the APSIA website for a listing of participating graduate schools.
